Furnace and Heating

A dead furnace on a cold night isn't an inconvenience - it's an emergency with pipes on the line. We repair fast and replace honestly.

Heating services

  • No-heat emergency repair - prioritized in season
  • Igniters, flame sensors, boards, blowers and gas valves
  • Annual tune-ups with combustion analysis - safety and efficiency in one visit
  • Carbon monoxide testing and cracked heat-exchanger inspection
  • High-efficiency furnace replacement, sized and installed to spec
  • Boilers and garage heaters serviced too

Safety is not a maybe

Furnaces burn fuel in your basement all winter; the margin for sloppy work is zero. Every service includes combustion analysis and CO checks, and heat-exchanger inspections are honest - condemned only with evidence you can see on the camera, never as a sales tactic. That specific scam is why half our customers left their last company.

New installs are commissioned properly: gas pressure set, temperature rise verified, venting and condensate done to manufacturer spec - the difference between a furnace that lasts nine years and one that lasts twenty.

Common questions

Why does my furnace start then stop?

Short-cycling - commonly a dirty flame sensor, choked filter or an oversized unit. The first two are cheap fixes; we'll tell you which you have.

How often does a furnace need service?

Annually, ideally in fall. It's a safety check as much as a tune-up - small money against midwinter failure and CO risk.

Is a high-efficiency furnace worth it?

In cold climates, usually yes - the fuel math is real. We'll run your actual usage against both options.

Heat tonight. Honest options tomorrow.
